So What Exactly Is Sublimation Printing?

Great question. Unlike DTF or screen printing, where the ink sits on top of the fabric, sublimation printing uses heat to literally turn ink into a gas that bonds with the fibers of the material. The result? The design becomes part of the fabric itself. It won't peel, crack, fade, or feel like a sticker on your shirt. It's smooth, vibrant, and incredibly durable — even after a hundred washes.

What Makes It Different from DTF or Screen Printing?

• Screen printing puts thick ink layers on top of the fabric. Great for bold, simple designs. Not ideal for photo-realistic prints or gradients.

• DTF (Direct to Film) transfers also sit on top of the fabric, but they're super versatile and work on almost any material, light or dark.

• Sublimation goes INTO the fabric. It's permanent, seamless, and perfect for full-color, all-over prints — but it works best on polyester or poly-blend fabrics in light colors.
