Ordering custom shirts doesn't have to be complicated. At Bright Designs, we've built a process that works whether you need 1 shirt or 1,000 — and we handle everything in house from design to print. Here's exactly how it works.

Step 1 — Contact Us and Tell Us About Your Project

Every order starts with a conversation. Call or text (816) 83-SHIRT, email sales@bdshirts.com, or reach out through bdshirts.com. Tell us what you're thinking — what the shirts are for, how many you need, any colors or ideas you have in mind. You don't need to have everything figured out. That's what we're here for.

Step 2 — We Build Your Design

Our design team works with you to create exactly what you're envisioning. You can bring your own artwork, a rough sketch, a logo file, or nothing at all — we'll build it from scratch. We make as many revisions as it takes until the design is perfect. There's no cap on changes.

Step 3 — You Get a Custom Quote

Every order gets a custom quote — no hidden fees, no surprises. Pricing is based on quantity, garment type, print size, and any add-ons like names, numbers, or a second print location. There are no setup fees and no screen charges. See our pricing page for standard tee pricing as a starting point.

Step 4 — Approve the Design and Pay

Once the design is exactly right and you're happy with the quote, we collect full payment upfront. Since every order is custom made to order, we purchase your garments and print your transfers specifically for you — they can't be reused or resold. Full payment before production protects both sides.

Step 5 — We Go to Work

Once payment is received and artwork is approved, your order enters production. Standard turnaround is 10 to 14 business days. Need it faster? We offer three rush tiers — 5 to 7 business days, 3 to 4 business days, and 24 to 48 hour emergency service. See our Rush Service Policy for details.

Step 6 — Pick Up, Delivery, or Shipping

Local pickup at our St. Joseph location is always free. We can also arrange local delivery within 100 miles, or ship your order anywhere in the world. Freight charges apply for shipping and are quoted with your order.
